There actually have been alot of people who have done similar experiments like to investigate teeth decay.
I have also visited a few sites and read about people using these types of drinks to corrode metal though they have left the metal for a few days with the drink.
Acidity
pH is the measure of acidity which range from 0-14 (1 being the highest).
0-7 = Acidic.
7+ = Non Acidic (Neutral).
Drinks
Soft Drinks - Coke(this can also include different cokes such as diet coke) , Solo, Fanta, Sprite,
Fruit Juices - Orange, Apple, Lemon, Tropical Punch
Things To Do.
1. Get pH paper
2. Set up the experiment (this means getting the equipment, plan the method and aim).
3. Write the report.
Question
From looking at this picture It looks like fruit juices such as lemon and orange will far more acidic than the other drinks.
